This site is for you, Lydia. Following your travels is one of my great pleasures. Your photos, your messages, the places you’re discovering,  it all paints a picture of a very different world from the one I know, and I’m loving every glimpse of it.

So I decided to capture it properly, while it’s all still fresh. For each country you visit (or at least the ones you tell me about!) there are three pages. First, a record of our WhatsApp chats — your words, unedited, exactly as you sent them. Second, an overview of that country — researched by me, inspired by you. And third, a gallery of your photos, there to keep forever.

Think of it as a travel memoir – yours, with a little help from me. Click through and I hope you like what you see. Do keep sending your chats and photos — every one of them finds a home here.

One thing worth knowing, this site lives only on your phone, not on the internet. It’s just for you and anyone you choose to share it with. No one else can find it.
